Born between 8/2/10 - 8/1/13 = Grasscutter
Born between 8/2/08 - 8/1/10 = Super Grasscutter
Born between 8/2/06 - 8/1/08 = Pee Wee
I have to pay a $75.00 fee, where does that money go?
As you can see from the picture below, the $75.00 fee covers less than 25% of the cost of outfitting a player.
When is practice?
Practice is usually held on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Any changes to that schedule will be posted on this site. Our first day of practice this year will be 7/31/17.
When are games?
Game day is Saturday. Grasscutters always kickoff first at 5:00 P.M. Super Grasscutters follow around 6:30 P.M., with the Pee Wees playing last at approximately 8:00 P.M.
We do have two teams in the conference that do not have a lighted field, they are: New Center and Jefferson City. Any games played at these two fields will start at 11:00 A.M. for Grasscutters, 12:30 P.M. for Super Grasscutters & 2:00 P.M. for Pee Wees.
What kind of football cleats can be used?
Per English Mountain Football Conference Rules:
"Only Pnuema type shoes will be allowed (Tennis shoes or sneakers may be used). No metal tipped cleats will be allowed. If a player is caught wearing any shoe other than regulation, they will be suspended immediately from the game and the following game. The same applies to the Head Coach of the team in violation."
Screw in cleats are now allowed providing they are not metal tipped.
