Umpire Best Practices

• Each team will provide two (2) umpires when scheduled. Umpires should provide two (2) balls/strikes/outs clickers and mask.
• We encourage the plate umpire to be pitcher-friendly. We want people to swing at the ball, not rely on a walk. Do not be afraid to call strike three.
• Unless good reason, such as injury or agreed upon by both team coaches, umpires should finish the game in the position they started. Meaning that if an umpire starts the game as the plate umpire, they should remain in that role for the entire game.
