Have Fun: Teach players to enjoy the process of learning new skills on and off the court.

How early to show up for practice and games
We like for you to show up at least 15 minutes before practice to dress and be ready to practice. Coach Bates will set times for games.

What to wear at practice and games
Practice jerseys, appropriate length shorts and basketball game shoes on court. Jewelry and any type of hard hair accessories will not be worn. Game attire will be decided on game to game basis.

Missing practices and the repercussions
This will be decided by Coach Bates on an individual situation. Missing for an unexcused reason will not be tolerated and will be punished by some form of conditioning up to sitting out games or season.

Playing time and how it is earned
Time is earned by developing your skills to benefit the team though attending camps, playing off season or working on your own. You must know all the plays and be proficient on offense, defense or both.

No coaching from sidelines
We prefer parents to allow coaches to do their job. Parents please encourage your child and talk to the coaches if you have any concerns (except playing time).

Parents are allowed to attend practices and encouraged to support their child and her team at the games.
