Beef 'O' Brady's are Eliminated by the Mariners in 6-5 Loss!!!!
June 28, 2008 The Red Stockings ended their season the way it's be all year, just losing to the Mariners 6-5. "The team never seemed to get in a rhythm all year and now we're eliminated," Manager Ernie Bianco said. "I hope next year guys come out with the mind set to eliminate mistakes because we never really came close to playing a clean game all year.

At times, things looked up for the Red Stockings when they received pitching help from their Orlando affiliate the Orlando Marlins. But, the bats never really came alive and they never put a lot of runs on the board each game. "I appreciate every player coming out and playing this year, I really do. I hope we have everyone back plus a couple of our veteran players that were not on the active roster this year!"

Beef O' Brady's up-ended by the Astros 12-7
June 25, 2008 The Red Stockings suffered another loss to the Astros, this time it was the opening round of the playoffs. The Astros capitalized on 6 Red Stocking errors and timely hitting to beat the Red Stockings 12-7. Beef O' Brady's plays the loser of the Americans and Mariners game Friday night.

Droopy Stockings lose Ugly in Suspended Game 11-8
The Red Stockings looked flat and down right ugly giving the Space Coast Astros their first win of the season 11-8. The Stockings have NOT gained any momentum going into the playoffs and that concerns Manager Ernie Bianco. "If we keep making the same mistakes and come out here and go through the motions. We are going to lose and lose ugly. Tonight was a prime example! I think we have the ability to play good baseball, but for some reason we are not showing it, said Bianco." Next up, is the Brewers on Sunday at 12:30 if the Team decides to play.

Americans Beat Red Stockings 11-2
June 15, 2008 Red Stockings Errors lead to big innings for Americans as they hand the Stockings a 11-2 loss. Charlie Terryn led the offense with two hits and his son Nate added a rbi double for the Red Stockings. The Stockings also got solid pitching performance from Keving Scauzillo, Dick Spalding & Tim Armenta. Next up the Brevard Brewers Tuesday night at Palm Bay Regional Park @ 7:30.

Beef O' Brady's Beat Astros 6-3
June 13, 2008 Mark Cronan pitched four strong innings to earn the win on the mound for the Red Stockings. But, the bullpen held the Astros in check the rest of the way. Jeff Steele pitched two strong innings in middle relief for the hold and Tony Burnham got the save finishing out the seventh inning. Tim Armenta led the Red Stockings hitters with two hits and two rbi's. The Stockings also had some productive at bats from Lou Caracci and Mike Ramos each driving in a run. The Red Stockings are now only one game under five hundred and seem to be clicking with the playoffs nearing. Next up, the Americans on Sunday at Rock-Park (The Dump) @ 10:00.
