Americans Defeat Red Stockings 8-2 and Win Hobbs Championship

June 24, 2010
The Red Stockings went to school on Tuesday night, the school of how to hit the baseball with runners in scoring position. The Red Stockings had chances during the playoffs to break games wide open but failed to capitalize on opportunities. The Red Stockings manufactured two runs early in the game to take a 2-0 lead into the 3rd inning.
