Tom Shipman Award
Tom and Barbie Shipman dedicated time and money to the Chowchilla Youth Football Program. Tom spent 23 years supplying leadership, support, organization, and coaching, to the community of Chowchilla. Tom loved this town and the people in it. He wanted nothing more than for his family to grow and get involved in this great community which he called home.
The Tom Shipman award is a very special award that shows dedication, hard work, and volunteering numerous hours of time to the Chowchilla Youth Football Program, just like Tom did for many years.
Each year, the Chowchilla Youth Football Board selects an individual(s) for this honorable award, using the above characteristics of Tom Shipman. We would like to thank the award winners, and the Shipman family for the continued dedication and support to our program.
We surely miss Tom.
