FUNball does not have it's own facility, so teams need to secure a gym for practices. We know finding a place to practice can be challenging for some, and we apologize and thank you in advance for doing this. There are options for gym rentals in our Coach's tab.
Refund Policy
As always FUNball will do whatever we can to avoid any cancellations. However, weather-related and Covid shutdowns and closings will be out of our control.
During this 2022-23 season, we will give prorated refunds if the league shuts down as a whole, for more than 2 game dates. Prorated refund schedule is below.
0 games/clinics played, but uniforms and balls ordered: Refund will be registration fee minus $40
1-3 games/clinics played: 50% refund
4-5 games played: 25% refund
We will also give refunds like we have in the past for individuals who, after registering, choose not participate in league activities due to injury or personal reasons. Those refunds will be given at the discretion of the league commissioners.
Administration fees paid by FUNball in the amount of $6 per player will NOT be refunded.
Additional League Information
Registration Information:
· Players may register at any time during open registration online.
· You don’t have to already be on a team to play FUNBall. Players may register with a team or on their own. We will create new teams from kids who don’t already have a team or place individual players on existing teams.
· Registration forms and payment, in full, must be received on time to avoid a late fee. Due date for the 2020-21 season will be Nov. 19. Late registration MAY be accepted, but not guaranteed depending on numbers. There may be a fee of approx. $10 per player to cover extra uniform costs.
· Coaches signing up teams
o Parents will sign their own children up online. Players need to type the coach’s full name on their individual form.
o Coaches MUST complete a coach’s form/roster and email it to funballwichita@gmail.com. You may print the form, write in it, and email a picture of it, or you may type directly on the form.
o Teams need to be 10 players, no more than 10 per team will be accepted. The reason for this is because it goes against equal playing time. Two players would only be able to play 1 quarter each game and that does not follow FUNball Guidelines.
o Please click the box on the online form or call or email Kara or Lenny if you would like to coach. COACHES ARE NEEDED!! J
