Dates for prek-5th grade this season are:

Nov. 4: Clinics for all divisions ✅

Nov. 11 and 18: Preseason for 2nd-5th ✅

Dec. 2, 9, 16; Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27; Feb. 3: Regular season for all divisions. ✅

Weekend of Feb. 10: Post season tournament for all divisions.

6th grade: The sixth grade season will have double headers Nov. 11, 18, Dec. 9, 16.  A post season tournament with a 2 game guarantee will follow Jan. 6. Congratulations to the Hornets for winning the 6th grade tournament!!✅

There have been changes made within League Lineup, the company that runs our website. They are offering registration insurance. This has nothing to do with FUNball itself. We do not think this is necessary, but it is your choice to add it, and we cannot have this option removed from our registration. Because of this being added, families who have registered in the past will have to take some steps to get their parent names to be added to the parent tab. Steps for this are below.

To anyone who has registered to play FUNball in the past, you will need to take the following steps to get your name to show up in the parent tab.

1. Go to the Participants tab

2. Select your name under the 'Add a participant' drop-down.

3. Add your 'Birthday'

4. Put NA in all the other boxes and size XS for the uniform size. (You can't get off this screen until everything required has information in it, but we only need this info for players, not parents.)

4. Go back to the Parent/Contacts tab to see if your name will now show in the drop-down.

FUNball apologizes for this hoop that you have to jump through.  It is because of the insurance tab that was added that League Lineup will not allow us to remove.

The FUNball Youth Basketball Program started in 1998. Since that time, FUNball's Fall/Winter Program, that combines fundamental clinics and league play; and Summer Program, which features a variety of camps and clinics, have served over 10,000 boys and girls in the Wichita area.

FUNball is based on these four guidelines:

1. Basketball is played best and participants gain the most when it is taught and played in a FUNdamentally sound manner.
2. CHARACTER IS EVERYTHING! Sports has a tremendous potential for good. “One player, coach, or parent practicing sportsmanship is far better than fifty preaching it.” ~Knute Rockne
3. Basketball is meant to be fun and presents a great opportunity for growth by participants.
4. Each individual and team is important.
