represents Detective Marc Anthony DiNardo badge #2772 of the Jersey City Police Dept.who was shot in the line of duty July 16, 2009.  Detective DiNardo and 4 other Jersey City Officers were all shot attempting to apprehend 2 suspects wanted for robbing and shooting a citizen.  His organs were donated saving 3 additional lives as a result of his untimely death.

represents Jersey City Fire Department Captain Mark V. Lee who was the heart of engine company 10.    Captain Lee unselfishly responded and conducted rescue missions on many days at the site of the terror attacks September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center.  Captain Lee passed away May 9, 2014 as a result of injuries and diseases he contracted while at the WTC.  Captain Lee was a highly decorated Firefighter and was in fact classified as an in the line of duty death due to his actions at the WTC site an subsequent untimely passing.
