REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE

 

Marshfield Youth Cheerleading may grant registration assistance to cheerleaders who, without assistance, would not be able to participate in the MYC program. Registration assistance is given to defray registration costs and may not be used for any other program expense. Applicants must be able to cover additional mandatory costs including uniform accessories (approx $150.00 for first year athletes who will need everything) and camp/choreography, tumbling, bows ($300.00) independently. 

 

Any Registration Assistance is contingent upon available funds in the MYC budget and the number of applicants. Should there be an excess number of applications Assistance Awards will be granted by lottery. Amounts will not be awarded until after any cheerleader has secured a spot on the appropriate squad.  

 

Families receiving assistance must fulfill these requirements or return the award so that it can be used in future seasons. Any families who have withdrawn a cheerleader from the MYC program during any previous cheerleading season for any reason other than injury are not eligible. 

 

Registration assistance requests must be submitted through on-line forms and must contain all the necessary information.

 

Assistance awards are approved by the executive board and information is maintained private. Please feel free to email with any further questions. 

 

Requirements of eligibility:

  • Cheerleader must live in Marshfield.
  •  
  • Cheerleader must meet all attendance requirements throughout the season, including being on time for practices.
  •  
  • Cheerleader and family have reviewed the MYC parent information as well as the rules and regulations prior to submitting their    request so they have a full understanding of the program.
  •  
  • Applicants are able to cover the additional costs detailed above.
  •  
  • Cheerleaders must complete their mandatory fundraising.
