Juniors Battle of Omaha Tournament
June 12-14, 2014
The JV boys played against teams from Texas, Colorado, Illinois and Missouri, going 1-5 in the tournament overall.
The tournament was great for the Pride Baseball organization, and the JV boys and parents stepped up and volunteered from morning til night in support of the tournament and Roncalli.
Thanks to everyone who worked tirelessly to make sure our field was prepped and ready, our concession stand was open and manned and the gate was covered by friendly faces!

Final score: Roncalli 6 - Gretna 5
Starting pitcher Nick Valla had two K's, three walks and only one hit in two innings. Four errors on this cold, snowy night helped contribute to a 5-run lead by the Dragons early on in the game.
Relief pitcher Nick Iossi earned the win with three innings pitched, no runs allowed, eight Ks, two walks and two hits.
Roncalli players Ty Kloewer, Noah Oswald, Dan Bowers, Cole Gillespie, Adam Gillespie and Caleb Dempsey showed up at the plate with a combined five hits and eight walks to beat Gretna 6-5.
