I began wrestling at the age of 5 in Dec. 2000. I train and wrestle with USA Everett.
In the summer of 2009 we moved to Lake Stevens Washington. I began my High School career as a Lake Stevens Viking wrestling as their varsity 103lber. I was the only freshman on the varsity team. Team web site: www.Lakestevenswrestling.com
I am a 2009 All American, a ASICS USAW Folkstyle National Championship 4th place finisher, 11 time Washington Wrestling State Champion: 5 time Greco Roman State Champion, 4 time Freestyle State Champion and 2 time Folkstyle State Champion. I am also a 1 time Silver and 1 time Bronze Freestyle State Championship Medalist and one time Folkstyle Championship Silver Medalist and two time Folkstyle Championship Bronze Medalist, a 16 time top 3 State Placer, PCJWL Champion and 2x PCJWL Tough Guy Tournament Champion, NW Folkstyle Championships Silver Medalist and 2x Middle School District Champion.
During the 06/07 season, I wrestled as a 2nd year Novice at 75lbs in Folkstyle and 80lbs in Freestyle and Greco.
Highlights of the 06/07 season include an undefeated season, 68-0 and winning the Washington State Triple Crown Championship for the 2nd time. I won the Washington State Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman State Championships. My wrestling team awarded me the Team "Outstanding Wrestler" award as well as awarded me a "Team Trophy" Award. And I also won the "Outstanding Wrester" award at two different tournaments and won the PCJWL Tough Guy Tournament.
The 05/06 season stated 8 weeks late for me as I recovered from a broken ankle suffered playing football.
I wrestled as a 1st year Novice at 70lbs in Folkstyle and 75lbs in Freestyle and Greco.
Highlights of the 2006 season include winning the Freestyle and Greco Roman State championships and winning the Bronze medal in the Folkstyle State Championship. I also won the "Outstanding Wrestler" award at one tournament.
During the 04/05 season, I wrestled as a 2nd year Midget at 65lbs.
Highlights of the 04/05 season include an undefeated season, 64-0 and winning the Washington State Triple Crown Championship, one of only two midgets to do so this season. I won the Washington State Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman State Championships. I also won the "Outstanding Wrestler" Award at the Washington State Folkstyle Championships, going 9-0 on the day and going un-scored on. And I was awarded the 2005 "Bruce Cook" Award for having the best technique on my wrestling team for the season.
