The Scotch Plains - Fanwood Little Raiders Mites Development Program

The Scotch Plains - Fanwood Little Raider Mites Development Program was the brainchild of Matt Gualtieri & Terence White. The goal was to create an introductory program for children between the ages of 5 & 9 to learn and enjoy the great sport of ice hockey. Through a partnership with Ken Anderson and the Union Sports Arena, a fun & positive atmosphere for the kids to practice & play in was created. From day one, the participants learned the fundamentals of skating, hockey and competition; all of which fostered teamwork and fair play.
