The CYAA participates in the Lamprey River Basketball league which consists of the towns of Candia, Chester, Epping, Epsom, Nottingham, Oyster River (Durham), Raymond & Sanborn.

The league is grade based with divisions of grades 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 for both boys and girls. The game schedule for grades 5/6 and 7/8 starts in early December and runs to early February with playoffs following the regular season. The 3/4 division game schedule starts in early January and runs approximatley 6 weeks with no playoff format. All games are held on weekends with practices typically held once or twice/week at the CYAA fieldhouse.

The CYAA also offers a K-1 program which runs on Saturday mornings from 9-10 AM. This is a skills based clinic that prepares the kids for the next level. The program is held at the fieldhouse and starts in mid-November and runs approximatley 8 weeks. Parent participation is highly encouraged. 

In addition to the K-1 program the CYAA also runs a clinic/scrimmage based program for 2nd grade boys and girls  to focus on playing in actual games to prepare them for grade 3 and playing in the league the next year.
