We are extremely proud of the tradition and reputation the BANKER ALUMNI have built as a foundation for all new Bankers to follow and continue to build upon:
This includes:
· 10 CONNIE MACK WASH. STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS (between 1988 through 2007 when Bank was a C.M. Club).
· 5 HIGH SCHOOL ALL AMERICANS
· 68% WINNING PERCENTAGE
· OVER 40 BANKERS DRAFTED AND PLAYED PROFESSIONALLY
· 5 FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK SIGNEE’S (MORE THAN ANY OTHER WASH ST. SUMMER CLUB)
Banker alumni who moved on from our program to continue their EXCELLENCE at College or Professional Baseball demonstrated while they played for the Bank a STRONG WORK ETHIC. The work ethic meant that we could always count on these players to arrive at the field ahead of time prepared to work hard to improve their skills. They maintained a positive attitude whether in or out of the lineup, and respected the game, their teammates, coaches, and others. Because they had a clear vision and goal of what they expected from themselves and would never compromise that standard, they would always play hard and make the sacrifices necessary for the success of the Team with a NO EXCUSE attitude. High Performance Alumni have all discovered that HARD WORK, DISCIPLINE and SELF SACRIFICE were the common traits that were critical to their success. Since leaving the program and moving on with their lives, they have found that these values have sustained them during times of adversity as they have worked thru problems and setbacks in life. As a Team , we will not measure the success of our season strictly by the win-loss record but also by each player’s personal development and improvement as well as our team chemistry, hustle, attitude, coachability and other less tangible measurements of success.
The typical BANKER BASEBALL PLAYER is a hard working young man with a commitment to move on to the highest next level possible and is an outstanding teammate that is very coachable. This player will make some mistakes but always learns from them and NEVER makes excuses. Coaches and players can always count on him to be DEPENDABLE as his team and teammates are a priority. The BANKER PLAYER will never quit and always has a positive attitude.
Looking forward to a fantastic season of Bankers Baseball.
Once a Banker…. Always a Banker.
