West Chicago Youth Cheerleading Organization

The West Chicago Youth Cheerleading Organization's (Wego Cheer) purpose is to encourage youth athletic activities, promote sportsmanship and fitness.  To maintain a sound, mental, physical and moral condition.  To provide an opportunity to cheer and dance in a safe manner, develop qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, self-confidence, poise and enthusiasm.

 Our program is designed for children grades 1st through 8th, regardless of skill level.  Our mission is to provide a great experience and develope character.  Emphasis is on learning new skills, improving skills and being part of a team.  All participants must abide by Rules and Regulations set forth by the West Chicago Youth Cheerleading Organization and IRCA.  All rules and regulations have been established to ensure a "safe" environment for our participants. 

 Wego Cheer is a not-for-profit (501c3) organization that is operated and run solely by volunteers.  As part of the registration guidelines, parents and/or legal guardians are strongly encouraged to volunteer as coaches and or as board members.  No experience necessary.It takes a great deal of effort to provide a qualilty program the children of our community can be proud of. Please consider becoming as actively involved as you can.  You will find great rewards from donating your time and talents to the youth of our communities.
