WCYFA wants to promote pride, unity, team work, and to be THE example of good behavior and sportsmanship. Our goal is to teach the sport of cheer in a way that is positive and effective while preparing youth for junior high and high school level squads. We maintain high levels of expectations for all persons involved with WCYFA in order to be successful as an organization, as squads, and as individual participants. We understand that participation in WCYFA is a commitment to your children, your families, and your teammates, and strive to ensure that everyone involved has a rewarding experience.
 

WCYFA offers a unique opportunity for young ladies ages 5-13 to be a part of a cheer squad
that will perform at weekly WCYFA football games.
 
Age/Grade Divisions:

Flag ages 5-6-young 7 (Kn, 1st, & 2nd)
1A ages 7-8 (2nd & 3rd)
2A ages 9-10 (4th & 5th)
3A ages 11-12 (6th & 7th)

All ages as of July 1st of the current year. All grades for the 2015 - 2016 school year.

2015 PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS:
 
 Participants Must Be Age 5 - 13 as of July 1, 2015
Participant Must Register Online or In Person
 
YOU MAY REGISTER IN PERSON:
SUNDAY, JUNE 14th - 3:00 - 4:00 or
SUNDAY, JUNE 28th - 3:00 - 4:00
at the PAYMENT/PRACTICE UNIFORM FITTING
LOCATION: COMMUNITY PARK -800 Thomas Street
 
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND PAYMENT (1st payment $150.00) & PRACTICE UNIFORM FITTING,
SUNDAY, JUNE 14th or SUNDAY, JUNE 28th
 
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND PAYMENT (Final Payment $145.00) & GAME UNIFORM FITTING,
SATURDAY, JULY 11th - Time and location to be determined.
 
PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND CHEER CAMP, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
JULY 30 - 31 @ Wylie High School - 6:00 - 8:30

 

2015 WCYFA Pirate Cheer Fee
 
$295.00
This will include a uniform shell, uniform skirt, all lettering, bloomers and crop, a hair bow,
a practice t-shirt, practice shorts, poms poms.
This fee also covers league fees, cheer camps/clinics,  fields/practice location, game fields, insurance, trophy or medal. 
 
As well fee includes 2 practices per week along with a 10 game performance schedule.
Fees will be due in two installments
Payment 1 - $150.00 Due @ practice uniform fitting on Sunday, JUNE 14 or JUNE 28
(Community Park, 3:00 to 4:00)
 Payment 2 - $145.00 Due @ game uniform fitting on Saturday, JULY 11th (Location and Time TBA)
 
Sibling discount - $15.00 off each child AFTER the first.
 
Referral Discount for Return Cheerleaders - 15.00 - *REFER A FRIEND* (Must be new to WCYFA)
