**FIRST ROUND**

GAME 1.......CLANCY'S PUB....9.......KLINGENSMITH INSURANCE....7.......6 INNINGS

The two teams finshed with matching records in the regular season then did the same in the first inning of the game as they both scored 4 times. Clancy's continued to score as they lead 9-5 after 4 innings on their way to the opening game victory in 6 innings. Brandon Dittmar homered for Clancy's and Rocky Capobianco did the same for Klingensmith. Eric Fichter lead the Pub with 3 hits and a rbi.

GAME 2.......KLINGENSMITH INSURANCE....8.......CLANCY'S PUB....8

The evenly matched teams continued on the same path tonight as the game ended in an 8 all tie when darkness fell over the field. League rules count the game as a tie and the teams will take a day off before returning to Helen Richey Field to play game 2 again. Klingensmith jumped out to an 8-0 lead after 2 innings with Brooks Marzka's grand slam the big hit of the game. Clancy's clawed back into the game over the next few innings before getting an unearned run in the top of the 7th to tie the game. Brandon Dittmar lead the way at the plate with 4 hits while Aaron Wiegel and Dylan DiDomenico had 3 each.

GAME 3.......CLANCY'S PUB....7.......KLINGENSMITH INSURANCE....5

A 4 run 5th inning was Clancy's 3rd comeback of the series and the victory sends them into the semi finals against regular season champions Bowser. Down 2 in the 5th with 2 outs and 1 on, the Pub's coaching staff off Lou Kammermeier and John Jumba came thru with back to back singles to cut the lead to one. Dylan DiDomenico next singled to tied things up before Joe Aul's 2 run triple finished the scoring for the game. Eric Fichter lead Clancy's with 3 hits. After Dan Campbell's 3 run homer put Klingensmith up 5-3 in the 2nd, Clancy's pitchers Gil Malek and Paul Kubeja allowed just 1 hit and 1 walk the rest of the night. 16 year old Jack Klingensmith, Jr. singled for the first post season hit of his DNL career.

Bowser & Clancy's Pub

GAME 1.......BOWSER....9.......CLANCY'S PUB....8

Clancy's has been behind early in all 4 of their post season games so far, with tonights negative margin being 7-0 after 2 innings. Corey Rodgers and Paul Adams launched back to back homers in a 6 run Bowser 2nd inning. The Pub finally got on the board with a big 5th inning to cut the lead to 8-5. Bowser gave up 3 more in the 7th before ending Clancy's rally which had runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out. Dalaine Ofchinick and Jim Onder had 3 hits each for Bowser. Dan Lippert went 4 1/3 innings in picking up the win while allowing 4 hits, 2 walks and no earned runs. Mike Finocchi got the save after recording 6 strikeouts in the final 2 2/3 innings. Eric Fichter had 2 hits for the Tar Heels.

GAME 2.......CLANCY'S PUB....5.......BOWSER....4

Down a run in the bottom of the 6th, Clancy's scored twice to lead only to see Bowser answer with 2 of their own in the top of the 7th to reclaim a 1 run advantage. Then for the 3rd time this post season the Pub got a come from behind victory as they scored twice in the bottom of the 7th. Each of Clancy's innings were helped when pop ups were just missed in foul territory by the Bowser defense then followed up with hits after both batters returned to the plate instead of being put out. Brian Grise on the other hand ended Clancy's 6th inning with the defensive play of the year. The left fielder made a soaring catch that saw his body elevate parallel to the ground before landing in front of the 325 foot sign at the base of the foul pole. Bill Theobald and Buddy Wilson had 2 hits each for the Tar Heels. Paul Adams had 3 for the Twins.

GAME 3.......CLANCY'S PUB....13.......BOWSER....0.......5 INNINGS

Clancy's Chris Douglas didn't allow a hit until he gave up 2 in Bowser's last at bat of the 5 inning shutout win. The Pub though had no trouble hitting as they scored 5 in the first and 2 more in the second. Clancy's got 2 hits each from Joe Aul, Alex Hernberger (3 rbis) and Bill Theobald.

GAME 4.......CLANCY'S PUB....10.......BOWSER....9

4th seeded Clancy's moves on to the finals after holding on to beat Bowser, the regular season champions. With the tying run on 3rd, Aaron Weigel made a diving stop of a ground ball over the first base bag to end the series. Bill Theobald did the same at 3rd base to close out the top of the 6th with the Pub up just 9-8. Clancy's defense threw out a runner trying to score from first with no outs in the 3rd when Bowser started their comeback after being down 7-3. Clancy's got 2 hits from Theobald and a home run from Joe Aul while Alex Hernberger stayed perfect in the post season with at least 1 hit in all 7 games for the Pub. Paul Adams had 4 hits for Bowser who also got 3 from Jared Frey, one of which was a homer. Yesterday's winning pitcher Chris Douglas worked the last 2 innings to pick up the save for Clancy's. John Jumba will be in the finals for the first time in his 23 year career. The loss ends a never seen before run for Bowser's Manager Andy Brettschneider, who along with star players Dalaine Ofchinick and Jim Onder lead the Twins to 6 consecutive league championships.

Harvey Wilner's Tavern & Quinn Construction

GAME 1.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....14.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....4

A solo homer by Dean Langholz and a 3 run blast from Jim Pasquine put Quinn up early 4-0. Jordan Abromovitz's home run was part of a 5 run 4th inning as Harvey's took a 5-4 lead before putting the game away with 9 in the 6th. The Brewers got 2 hits each from Mike Neckerman (5 rbis) and George Nahay. David Pyles allowed 8 hits and 2 walks in the complete game victory. Billy Hodgetts and Pasquine had 2 hits each for the Mudcats.

GAME 2.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....10.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....5

Jeff Ziegler allowed just 2 hits and 2 runs in 5 1/3 innings of relief work. Havery's held just a 4-2 lead until they scored 4 times in the 5th without getting a hit as walks, errors and a hit batter did Quinn's in. The Brewers got 3 hits and 2 rbis each from Jordan Abromovitz and Nick Miller. Tommy Pasinski homered for the Mudcats.

GAME 3.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....12.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....3

Jim Pasquine allowed just 6 hits and 1 walk in the complete game victory for Quinn. The Mudcats lead right from the start scoring 2 in each of the first 2 innings before putting things away with 4 in the 7th. Dean Langholz and Ron Mitko each had 3 hits for Quinn. Tommy Pasinski homered for the Mudcats while Jordan Abromovitz and Anthony Giordano did the same for the Brewers.

GAME 4.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....13.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....1.......5 INNINGS

Ron Mitko was the star of the night as he threw a 5 inning, complete game 6 hitter for Quinn Construction and also delivered 3 hits at the plate in the Mudcat win. Quinn started fast with 5 in the first and finished things off with 8 in the 3rd. Derek Henson, Dean Langholz (3 rbis), Tony Kostelnik and Tommy Pasinski also had 3 hits each for the Mudcats.

GAME 5.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....9.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....8

Harvey's moves on to the finals by scoring 2 runs after being down to their last strike of the game. The Brewers fell behind right away by giving up 3 in the first but answered with 2 of their own. They still trailed 4-3 until pushing across 3 in the 5th. Quinn then took a 8-6 lead by getting 4 runs in the top of the 6th and held a 1 run lead going into the final frame after allowing an unearned run in the bottom of the 6th. The Brewers got a lead off walk to start their half of the 7th and that runner moved to 2nd base when a possible double play ball only resulted in an out at 1st base. Then with 2 outs and 2 strikes George Nahay singled to tie the game. Following a walk that moved Nahay to 2nd, Jake Kostelnik singled home the series winning run. The Brewers got 2 hits each from Jordan Abromovitz (3 rbis) and Craig Price. For the Mudcats, Dean Langholz (home run), Ron Mitko and Jim Pasquine each had 2 hits.

GAME 1.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....13.......CLANCY'S PUB....7

Harvey's gave up a run in the top of the 1st but it didn't bother them at all as they answered with 5 of their own. The Brewers then went on to score in each of the first 5 innings as they built a 13-3 lead. Tim Donnelly (2 home runs & 5 rbis) and Jordan Abromovitz (home run & 3 rbis) had 3 hits each for Harvey's who also got a home run from Tyler Scruggs. Clancy's was lead by Alex Hernberger's 3 hits and a Dylan DiDomenico home run.

GAME 2.......CLANCY'S PUB....14.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....2.......5 INNINGS

Lou Kammermeier gave up just 3 hits and a walk in the 5 innings complete game victory. Clancy's held just a 3-2 lead until breaking things open with 5 unearned runs in the 4th before Bill Theobald sealed the game up with a grand slam in the 5th. A.J. Kavinsky and Aaron Wiegel (4 rbis) had 2 hits each for the Pub. Tyler Scruggs homered for the 2nd straight game for Harvey Wilner's Tavern.

GAME 3.......CLANCY'S PUB....13.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....4

Clancy's lead just 5-3 when they came to bat in the top of the 6th but then put the game away with 7 runs in their victory over Harvey Wilner's. Zach Galasso (2 home runs & 6 rbis) and A.J. Kavinsky (2 rbis) lead the Pub with 3 hits each. Clancy's also got a home run from Buddy Wilson. Tyler Scruggs lead Harvey's with 3 hits while Jordan Abromovitz hit a 2 run homer for the Brewers. Clancy's Alex Hernberger's post season hitting streak came to an end at 10 games.

GAME 4.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....14.......CLANCY'S PUB....2.......5 INNINGS

Both teams scored twice in the first but that is all Clancy's got as Jeff Kuzma limited them to just 3 hits in the last 4 innings. Facing elimination, the Harvey's manager decided to make his first start of the year tonight and it worked as the Brewers won in 5 innings. The Brewers got 3 hits each from D.J. Michalski (double & 2 rbis) and Craig Price (double, 3 rbis & 4 runs scored) along with a home run and 3 rbis from Tim Donnelly.

GAME 5.......CLANCY'S PUB....6.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....5

Clancy's trailed by 2 runs in the top of the fifth until Alex Hernberger lifted a 3 run homer after failing to get a sacrifice bunt down. Lou Kammermeier settled down after allowing 4 first inning runs to record his 2nd complete game victory in the finals as Clancy's Pub won the battle of 2 teams is search of their first ever DNL title. Center Fielder Joe Aul lead Clancy's with 3 hits (double) and made a diving catch in the 5th inning with 2 outs and a runner on first. For Havery's, Anthony Giordano had 3 hits (double & 2 rbis).
