There are a multitude of volunteer opportunities for parents of program participants to support individual teams and cheer squads. Each team has a Team parent who coordinates snack bar workers, arranges for half-time and end-of-game refreshments, and in general, helps the coaching staff with non-playing details. Some coaches appreciate having someone on the sidelines to keep statistics to aid in analyzing individual and team performance.A parent may be designated to video tape the each game to aid in coaching,as well as having a tape recording of the season. On game days ,the following are required:Chain and Down box volunteers Field set-up and tear down crews.if you have football experience and would like to help coach, make the desire known to your head coach.he or she will probably welcome your interest and put you to work, you may even stay on for years!
