The Overbrook Monarchs Youth Athletic Organization is a non-profit organization which strives to promote educational and community outreach, mentorship and diversity through athletics and social interaction. Through this effort, the OMYAO hopes to instill and reflect pride, teamwork, sportsmanship, quality work ethic, discipline and awareness while stressing academic and athletic achievement and leadership, among its participants and members of the community they interact with. Through the foundation of these guiding principles, the OMYAO hopes to achieve these goals by placing a strong emphasis on academic achievement, positive sportsmanship, character development and physical fitness.
