Bat Standards

For all divisions, any legal bat can be used.  This includes any bat certified by USA or USSSA, and any barrel diameter (2", 2 1/4", 2 1/2", 2 5/8", and 2 3/4").  Wood bats can also be used.

Player Equipment Needs

Each player needs to procure their own personal baseball equipment. 

Required items : 

Baseball Glove

Baseball Bat

Batting Helmet - Recomend to include Jaw Guards or Face Mask

Recomended items : 

Heart Guards

Sliding Shorts with Protective Cup - Note Catchers must wear a Protective Cup

Cleats - Molded baseball, football, or soccer style are accetable.   Younger players in T-Ball and Shetland can wear basic atchletic shoes.  Also, only players in our Pony division may wear metal spikes; however, the player will have to have cleats, turfs, or other athletic shoes to pitch on artificial mounds.  Thus, Golfmoor does not receomend spikes.

Catching Equipment - Golfmoor will provide teams a set of catcher's gear; however, we find that younger players use the team gear and the older players procure their own personal gear.  If you procure your own gear, please make sure that the helmet is the hockey style mask that fully covers both ears and that it has a built in-extended throat guard or separetly attached throat guard.
