YBA PLAYING RULES
National Federation Basketball Rules are followed with the following special rules:
1. Playing time is two fifteen (15) minutes each half. Any overtime period will be three (3) minutes.
2. Will use three point field goal.
3. May press only in the last two minutes of each half and any overtime period.
4. When a team cannot press, it must drop back to the mid-court line and not play defense until the ball crosses mid-court.
5. Violators of the no press rule will get a warning for the first violation and will be assessed a technical foul for the second and succeeding violations.
6. Regulation ball will be used.
7. Each player must appear in each half and gain no less than 5 minutes of playing time in each half.
