Dear DFL Families:
Welcome to another season of DFL Football and Cheerleading! A large part of the success of the Delaware Football League depends on fundraising. This season, each family is asked to raise a minimum of $100 through fundraising. If you would prefer not to participate in our fundraisers, we kindly ask that you make a $100 donation to the league.
We have planned a few unique fundraising opportunities that will allow us to purchase new equipment and uniforms for our players and cheerleaders. The board of directors have worked very hard during the off season to select fundraisers that will help raise as much funds as possible for our league. We encourage you to share these with your friends and families, so we can maximize our fundraising potential. This season, we have selected three fundraising options. Families can choose whichever option(s) they feel would best raise $100.
· NY Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox Raffle: Each family will be given 3 ticket books (5 tickets per book) to sell. The total cost per book is $20
o Winner will receive 2 tickets – which include access to the Audi Club! Each ticket is valued at $250!
o Game Date: Friday, September 1st
o Drawing will take place on August 20th at 3 pm. You do not need to be present to win!
o Cost: Each raffle ticket is $5 or 5 tickets (book) for $20

· 99 Pledges: Last year we had tremendous success with 99pledges.com This site allows friends and family from anywhere in the country to pledge a donation to your child(ren). The DFL will create a pledge page for each family. An email with your specific link will be sent to share with friends and family through email and/or social media. The league keeps 90% of all donations made on the pledge page. This is a great option to consider for families who live outside of the area or for people who may not want to purchase anything, but want to donate.
· DFL Booster Stickers: Each family will be given 5 booster stickers to sell for $5 per sticker. This is a terrific way for friends and families to show off their DFL pride!
