Out of the five Florida Phenoms teams that entered the USSSA Heartland Hoops tournament in Port Charlotte, four were crowned tournament champions.

On championship day, the 5th grade Phenoms started the trend, defeating For the Love on an amazing last second play. Next it was the 4th grade team celebrating with a championship victory over the Gulfcoast Rebels. Less then an hour later, the 10th grade Phenoms were receiving their first place medals after a come from behind victory against the Naples Heat. And rounding out the unbelieveablely successful day, the 8th grade Phenoms continued to establish their dominance with a championship win over MYOB Warriors. The 6th grade Florida Phenoms team from North Naples also participated, but came up just short of making it to the division two semifinals.

The Florida Phenoms continue to add honors to an already full trophy case with a strong showing in several age groups at the High Hoops Shootout. The 10th grade team captured the championship by defeating the Fort Lauderdale Chiefs. The 6th grade Phenoms followed suit but defeating H2NEO to earn a first place trophy. The 7th grade Phenoms finished strong by earning Runners Up in the Division 2 bracket. The 3rd grade Phenoms, competing in the 4th grade division, went 2-1 in pool play and earned a spot in the Division 1 semifinal before falling to MYBO. Congratulations to all teams!
