What are the cost involved?

All registration and tournament fees are waived for all participants that attend Van Dyke Public Schools.

For all participants outside the district there is an initial registration fee of $50.00.  Every tournament has it's own registration fee starting at $10.00, or you can pay the year up front with $150.

At what age should I start my child in wrestling?

Children can start competing in wrestling at age 5.

I'm on a fixed income, what if I can't pay the $50.00 Registration Fee?

We have a couple of options, the first involves our Candy Sale Fundraiser. All members of the Club are required to sell a minimum of 15 boxes of candy. If you would like, you could sell 20 boxes of candy in lieu of paying the $50 Registration Fee.

The second option is paying $10.00 a week until the $50.00 Registration Fee is paid in full. Please note, your child will not be able to compete in any tournaments until the Registration Fee is paid in full. The reason for this is because the bulk of the Registration Fee goes to paying the childs Membership Fee with MYWA and MUSAW.

I also have a Daughter, can she participate?

Yes, Boys and Girls can both compete, please be advised though, Boys and Girls compete together. There are not seperate Divisions for Boys and Girls.
