Neighborhood Basketball Program, (N.B.P.), established 2003, is a full service youth sports program provider for the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation. N.B.P. Youth recreation basketball program provides young people with a safe environment in which they can develop their skills, build there confident, learn to play with others, practice sportsmanship, and have fun. N.B.P. Youth recreation basketball program provides an opportunity for community leaders and parents to volunteer as coaches and to positively influence the development and growth of young athletes. The N.B.P. League Director or Coordinators shall govern and administer all youth basketball league activities and shall report to the park facility Center Director.

My expertise is in the young athlete to nurture and expand there knowledge and skill.
We service three levels of the game, we have classes held at Hourglass for the beginners, we have Recreational basketball leagues held twice a year for the novice, and we have Outkast competitive club ball for the serious we call expertise.
Winter Youth Basketball League at Mira Mesa Recreation Center is underway assessments are on Saturday the 13th of November. If you cannot attended your kid will be put on a team. Games begin the week of January 4th 2010. We will continue to take registration until first game.
