Congratulations to Sr. Legion Players

Jessie May had the Highest Batting Ave. for the 2010 Berks Sr. Legion League.

Jessie hit a blistering .540 (27/50) to lead all Legion Players in the Berks County League. Jessie was .50 Points better than Aaron Wilkin of the Boyertown Bears who hit .490 for the Season.

Jessie is currently attending West Chester University and is a Red Shirt Freshmen for the West Chester University Baseball Team.

Congrat's Jessie.

Cody Albright also Lead the League with 7 Homers, 4 better than Wieser's Mark Minisce who had 3 Homers. (Way to hit'em)

Also Brad Smith was 4th in ERA (3.00)


The Twin Valley Sr. Legion Team Lead the League in Homers (10), Hits (181), RBI's (124) and AB's (525) Finished with a Team BA of .345 just .013 less than Boyertown's Lead Leaging .358 Ave. Twin Valley Finished 2nd in Triples (11), SLG% (.499) and Runs Scored (127) and 3rd in Doubles (29)

Twin Valley Legion Wrap-Up

Sr. Legion - This season Started off with the John Snyder Memorial Tournament Championship Memorial Day Weekend.

In their first season in the Berks County League, The Raiders finished with a regular season record of 11-10, with a winning record, the Raiders made the Playoffs. In their first playoff game the Raiders def. Fleetwood 5-4. They then played Boyertown in the Famed Bear Stadium. The Bears def. the Raiders 16-3. The raiders then played West Lawn in the Losers Bracket and West Lawn ended the Raiders Season 12-8.

The Raiders finished with and over all record of 12-12 in their first season.

Jr. Legion - The Raiders finished the Regular Season with a record of 7-13 finishing 9th overall. Just missing the 8th spot for playoffs losing a tie-breaker with Coatesville.

Prep Legion - The Raiders finish 9-8 this season finishing in a 3 way Tie for 9th, the top 8 teams make the Playoffs. The Raiders were the only team to beat the Aston-Media Legion Team that finished the regular season with just 1 loss (16-1).
