The pressure couldn't have been any greater.

Which was just fine by Jared Price and the rest of his Twin Valley teammates.

Price pitched out of a bases-loaded, no-out situation in the top of the ninth inning as the Raiders held on for a 7-5 win over Boyertown and their first Berks Legion League championship Wednesday at Bear Stadium.

Twin Valley American Legion Post 422 will be Hold Tryouts for Sr. Legion and Jr. Legion  at Twin Valley High School Varsity Field.

Times are as Follows:

Nor-Gwyn Baseball and Softball is proud to have been selected to host the 2009 Pennsylvania Region 2 American Legion Baseball Tournament. This prestigious event runs from July 18-23, 2009 and involves the American Legion Baseball League Champions from 6 Southeastern Pennsylvania Counties: Berks, Bucks, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, and Schuylkill. It is the largest baseball tournament of its kind ever held in our community. The winner of this tournament advances to the Pennsylvania State Tournament to be held in Boyertown, PA. The entire 15-game Region 2 Tournament will be played at Hostelley Field at the Nor-Gwyn Complex on Hancock Road in Upper Gwynedd Township, PA. The Tournament is a marquee event for our community and will attract several thousand attendees.


PA American Legion Region 2 Baseball Tournament.

The long awaited, never-before-held in our community, PA American Legion Region 2 Baseball Tournament is here! Beginning this Saturday, July 18, come witness one of the most historic events ever at the Nor-Gwyn Complex. A full slate of American Legion Championship-level baseball games begin at 9:30 am and continue through the day, culminating in our own Nor-Gwyn Hawks squaring off against Twin Valley from the Berks County League at 7:00 pm. At the reasonable price of just $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12, your family can enjoy two back-to-back tournament games (beginning at 3:45 pm) and a SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS DISPLAY immediately following the Hawks game.

Great Job Boys, Bringing Home our first Legion Trophy.

Raiders go 6-1 in The John Snyder Memorial Tournament to win it for the 2nd year in a row.

Raiders Defeated Teams from Caln, Devon Strafford, Paoli, Chester Valley, Naamans and Defeated Cape Henelopen From Deleware 11-1 to win the Tournament. The final game was played at West Chester University's Serpico Stadium on Memorial Day. Great Job Raiders
