All Other Game Rules that are not listed in the Centertown Adult Co-Ed Rules will be under the 2024 USA Slowpitch Softball Rule Book; you can go to their website to reviewed,

This is our first year in 18 years we had a co-ed league, so please bear
with us on some of these rules we came up with to begin with. We are not
going to be in a habit of changing rules during the season, we are
trying to catch some early before the season gets to 3 games and trying to
fit them for our league not any others since we are limit of not many females
signing up and our free agency list of waiting players is very low in numbers.
If anyone is interested in being our adult league commissioner please let me
(Donnie Caldwell) know.
Note on above: Adult League Director set this 3 game mark as a first round of
play to see what rules and rosters needed adjusted and added to finish the
season. At the time of rules being drawn up we still had around 16 players out
of the 48 total that havent pay registered fee at the time; Scared Hitless had
8 players not pay, JB Leftovers had 3 not pay and Centertown Mudcats had 5 not
pay so free agency list was created in case some un-pay players decided not to
play we could go to the waiting late sign-up free agency list to add to rosters.
At the beginning Scared Hitless pick up 3 free agent players; Centertown Mudcats
pick up 5 players and JB Leftovers pick up 8 players total of 17 players in free
agency that sign up.
RULES TAB SHEETS
Revised Rule at Coaches Meeting (5/16/24)
Rule 3 Team Roster; Section 1:
Centertown Adult Co-Ed League has set the team
roster at 12 not 14. This is to allow up to two additional batters in the game.

Clarification of Rule 6 Short Hand (6/3/24)
Under
Note Section, this applies when teams start losing players that quit or
taking off the roster.
A free Agent Sign-Up Player; male for male and female
for female during the season that a team goes under the 12 team roster number.
No player(s) can be added back to that team or any other team roster that a free
agent player has replaced. This will help keep number of forfiet games down and
add players back to original 12 players roster. This was told to the teams head
coaches.

Revised Rule (approved by Rules Committee): Effect 6/3/24 was told to coaches
at 1st game play

Rule 7 Section 2B Game Run Rules
12 runs after 5 complete innings or home team ahead in bottom of 5th
10 runs after 6 complete innings or home team ahead in bottom of 6th
20 runs after 3 complete innings or home team ahead in bottom of 3rd, if
home team is behind going into the bottom they will get to bat.
25 runs antime after 2 complete innings no matter if home or
visiting team are up by 25. (was added 6/4/24).

Clarification on Rules (6/11/24)
Rule 5: Section 4 Players need to start a game: part of section said;
(At least 2 females; if playing with 2 females, must take an out in each
inning for missing another female in the batting order playing inning with
1 out) means when it comes to that bat in the inning for that missing female
slot.

Rule 8: Fielding Section 1 Note 2:
said; When playing 10 fielders, must have
at least one (1) female in the outfield and one (1) in the infield; catcher
and pitcher counts as an infielder. - No female can play first or third base
(means all 3 females play the field that shows up at least 1 in the infield
and 1 in the outfield, other 1 anywhere else besides 1st and 3rd base and since
you can't
have no more than 7 men on the defensive field at any time all 3
females make up the 10 defensive fielding team that is in Note 1)

Rule 10:Section 1 Batting Order: A Note 2 said; Teams may bat up to two
additional hitters in the line-up (one female and one male or two females) not
two males.
Question brought up: Batting only 2 females in the line-up and taking a out at
their turn at bat slot and were it said only 7 men can play on the defensive
playing field, does this also mean only 7 men bat in the lineup.
Answer is No: Your batting order should consist of 7 men and 3 women=10 batters
Note A: and up to 1 additional male batter= 11 batters
Note B: and up to 1 or 2 additional females if not using a male batter=12 batters
Note C: if short handed on 1 female; you will take a out in the batter order at
that spot and still allow one male additional batter in the line-up.
Gives you still 8 males. Only 8 men can bat in a batting order. Only 7
men can play the field. All other males on the roster are considered
sub-players.
Revised Added to Rule 6 Section 3 Short Hand under note (Effect 6/17/24):
Teams have play 3 games to each other during the season, the rules committee has
look more into this rule to revised this with more information since it sounded
like for the whole
season to begin with when put in place. To stop teams by
trying to start a new team roster or adding more
players to it before the
tournament time,
we have come up with these additionals added to note rule
section.

A. Cut-off for this is when the team has play at least 7 games of the 9
games season schedule, no free agent players added, and or
B. When a player that has quit or left the team that has play at least 5
season games. That player can not be replace by a free agent player.
C. No free agent players can be added during a season tournament.
