Game Cancellations Due To Inclement Weather

HTLL uses an alert system to notify parents, players, coaches, umpires and volunteers about game cancellations due to inclement weather.  A manager or coach will always be at the field at game time in the event that anyone arrives for the game, but we also suggest subscribing to our alert system to be notified as early as possible.  Your manager/coach may also contact you directly.

Please note: many times the decision to cancel a game will not be made until game time, or even later if the inclement weather appears to be passing.  If you do not hear from your team manager and don't receive an alert, assume the game is proceeding as planned.

You can subscribe to our alerts via the web OR directly from your cell phone.  Please note: we have two separate alert setups, one for the HAC Divisions (Machine Pitch/T-Ball) and one for Karakung Divisions (Majors/Minors).  Please follow these instructions, subscribing to the appropriate alert based on which division you have players in.

Subscribing To Alerts Via Web

• Visit our Rained Out web page for:
  • Karakung Division (Majors/Minors) or
  • HAC Division (Machine/T-Ball).
• Follow the instructions on the screen to enter your 10 digit cell phone number (or email address if you would rather receive alerts via email).
• You will receive a confirmation code via text message or email.  Enter the code you received to confirm the process.

Subscribing To Alerts Via Cell Phone 

• Karakung Divisions (Majors/Minors):  Text the word HTLLALERT to 84483.
• HAC Divisions (Machine/T-Ball):  Use the web method above.

Cancelling Alerts - Unsubscribing

• Visit our Rained Out web page for:
  • Karakung Division (Majors/Minors) or
  • HAC Division (Machine/T-Ball).
• Click the link for "Manage Your Alert Subscriptions"
• Follow the instructions on the screen to enter your 10 digit cell phone number (or email address if you would rather receive alerts via email).
• You will receive a confirmation code via text message or email.  Enter the code you received to confirm the process.
• After entering your confirmation code, you will be presented with options to cancel your subscription.

Important Note: there is no charge to you or the league to use this service.  However, standard message rates and data charges from your wireless carrier may apply, particularly if you are not subscribed to an unlimited text messaging plan.
