Happy Holidays families of RRBL! As we are looking forward to another successful season of baseball, we can’t help but feel fortunate for being able to help
give this community some sense of normalcy during the pandemic. As always, we are dedicated to providing a fun atmosphere,
playing a game we all love, while continuing to encourage a safe environment for every player and family member, coach and umpire.
We, the Board of Directors, can’t thank you enough for entrusting Round Rock Baseball League season after season.
We wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season, and are counting the weeks to seeing everyone on the Diamond in 2021!

Message to my Players:
Don’t let baseball become a job while you’re a kid. Play with sportsmanship, a good attitude, and with love for the game.
Respect all the adults involved, especially your parents. If you do those things, you are successful regardless of wins and losses.
You are family to me and always will be. I love you and can’t wait to see what you do next.

Cheese or pepperoni? Pepperoni
Favorite Car? Porsche 911 Turbo S (I have wanted a 911 Turbo since I was about 12)
If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do? Assuming my car would also be invisible, drive really fast in the middle of nowhere.
If you could be a fruit, what would you be? An apple – without an apple falling (it did not hit him); Newton may not have come up with his theory of universal gravitation.
If you found a genie, what would you wish for? Enough money so that every kid who wanted to play baseball could do it with no worries.
If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go? Cooperstown, NY (home of the Baseball Hall of Fame)
What's the best combination of weird food you have ever tried? I don’t eat much weird food but maybe dipping vanilla wafers in chocolate cake icing

A Message from The Executive Board
I want to welcome everyone to the RRBL fall season. Time went by extremely fast for the three weeks that we had off between seasons. In the fall we typically call it our development season since players are having to move up and figure out how to play at the next level. Just as they develop on the field, we as mangers, coaches, and parents have to develop our safe practices in order to do our part in minimizing the exposure of Covid. The league has purchased disinfectant and will be making it available to the teams, but we also encourage our teams and parents to bring their own sanitizers to help stop the spread of Covid. Ever since the shutdown this past spring, RRBL went to work trying to find a way to keep baseball alive for our kids. With the support of the City and the State, we were one of just a handful of leagues in the Central Texas area to resume baseball activities. When we were allowed to resume in late May, we had a plan in place to provide modified practices which eventually allowed us to resume baseball games. Even this fall has been a challenge for some leagues but with a lot of work and support, RRBL has once again been able to provide baseball for the kids that want to play. Thank you to all of the board members, and also to the parents who have helped keep baseball going in Round Rock. I'm looking forward to watching many exciting games in the coming weeks.
