Why are uniforms important and required by the PWC Panthers Track & Field Club?

Team uniforms, colors, and logos allows fans to show their support and loyalty to a sports team and players show their dedication to each other.

The most fundamental feature of a team uniform is to visually distinguish between competing teams and identify players during an event. Contrasting team uniforms help fans root for their team’s members. A uniform fosters team unity, which in turn can keep players motivated to succeed. It also creates solidarity between players and fans. Having a strong fan base is essential to a team’s morale, motivating players even further. Wearing identical uniforms creates a sense of equality, which is important when you are trying to win as a group. No individual is more important than any other, and that’s what teamwork is all about.

Click the links below for information on the PWC Panthers uniform requirements for the 2019 Outdoor season and additional apparel that athletes, parents, staff members, and other supporters may purchase. Athletes are strongly encouraged to attend an Open House to perform uniform fitting to ensure proper apparel size is ordered. All orders are final; there are no returns/exchanges. Questions may be directed to the Club’s Uniform Manager or Panther Staff Member.

Click PWC Panthers Athlete Uniform Order Listing (Updated May 20, 2019)

Note:  Athletes must not submit uniform orders via the online store. All athlete uniform items (speed suit top, t-shirt, warmup pants and warmup jacket) will be purchased by the Club Admin. Athletes must provide the President their sizes for inclusion in the team’s bulk uniform order. Parents, staff members, and other supporters may purchase any desired items from the online store.
