- Brian Rice……what can you really say about this guy. He once called Assistant Coach Miggy Marti to tell him that he had gotten home early from a business trip, had his baseball gear with him, and wanted to drive straight from the airport to the game in time for the 7th inning to pitch! Thankfully Miggy told him to go home and get some rest, but the story serves to show Ricey’s dedication and commitment to 1) Pitch and 2) Play baseball for the FC Barons. Ricey is a Meteorologist, so we can thank him for never getting it right AND he is a MA native that is a die hard Yankees fan. Huh??? In his first season for the Barons, Rice quickly took over as the Ace of the staff and racked up a combined 5 wins for the Summer/Fall season. Rice played his college baseball for Florida Tech before settling down in NOVA with his wife Rachel. Funniest fact about Rice: No one on the Barons could believe he was only 22 years old (last year)! He looks at least 30!
