Jacob is a strong catcher. It is very hard for teams to run on him. His technique is very good behind the plate. He can drive the ball and hits with power including several home runs in the summer of 2015. This summer he hit .305 with metal bats and .274 with wood. If he continues to improve his future is bright. I would say he is in the top 20% of all catchers we saw this year. The Black Knights are a major caliber travel team and play a major schedule.
