Farm 7yrs-8yrs-9yrs playing rules

1.       Start time is 6pm allow up to 15 min. then forfeit!

2.       Team may start with 9 players and finish with 8 players.

3.       Only the batter is allowed to be to hold a bat.

4.       All players are to be in the dugout.

5.       Catchers (boys) must wear a protective cup.

6.       COACH will pitch with a pitching machine to the opposing team. If the machine breaks please call Tim McConniel

7.       If there is a dispute, the coaches MUST discuss it off the field. Please call Tim McConniel @978-853-9420

8.     3 strikes, batter is out. 4 balls & the batter walks

9.     10 players allowed on the field (4 players in the outfield)

10.                          Only 5 innings to a game.

11.                          Only 5 runs allowed per 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd & 4^th inning. Unlimited runs in last inning.

12.                           10 run mercy rules applied after 4^th inning.

13.                          No eating on the bench, drinks and gum are allowed.

14.                          Only 1 base allowed on an overthrow and limited to 2^nd base only. (no 3^rd or home base stealing on an overthrow).

15.                          No new inning after 8pm.

16.                          No “in the park homerun” 3^rd base maximum.
