Columbia Falls clips Corvallis

At Columbia Falls, the Wildkats picked up from where they left off last season in taking third at the State A tournament, dumping the Blue Devils in the debut for both teams.

Peyton Kehr poured in 18 points to lead the hosts. Teammate Kiara Burlage added 10 points.

Junior guard Corinne Sanderson scored seven points for Corvallis, who spotted the Wildkats a 34-14 halftime lead.

At Corvallis, Tylor Nixon scored 14 points, dished out five assists and came up with five steals in the Blue Devils' win over the Wildcats.

Chase Jessop led the Blue Devils in scoring with 19 points, while Justin Catanach added five points and eight rebounds.
