Kolb was an InterMat top 100 recruit and a three-time state qualifier for Grove City High School, where he captured the title his senior year. He posted a 128-22 career record, including a 39-0 mark in 2008-09.

Honors and Awards
Wrestled 2 years at Division 1 University of North Carolina.
Freshman Season 2010-11: Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Tournament Champion at 197 lbs.
Sophomore Season 2011-12: ACC Tournament Runner-Up 197 lbs.
Junior Season 2013-14: Transferred to Pitt-Johnstown
Won the Super Region I title going on to place seventh at the National Tournament becoming an All-American.
21-5 Overall, 10-2 in Team Duals.
Broke Jared Kuleck's 197 lb single season record (14 falls) set in 1992-93 with 16 falls. Bennett's 14 pins in 28:09 led the country and his 4.3478 points made him the country's second most dominating wrestler.
High School Career
Three-time PIAA AA State Place-winner at Westmont Hilltop High School. AA State Runner up in 2006. PA AA State Champion in 2007. PA AA State 5th Place in 2009.
