Sunkist Crowned S36 Champs!

 

Another chapter has unfolded as Toyota could not repeat and deal.  The game had built up to be a toss-up for each squad had a thing or two to prove.  Atypical to a finals game, defense dictated early tempo.  I thought Joel Villanueva got to his spots early and Jessie 'Gober' Caldo used every inch of his wingspan to his advantage and controlled the paint.  Toyota's outside game never got in gear and eventually momentum tipped over to citrus men.

 

Another memorable night for team Sunkist as veteran LL baller Edward Garcia is now our winningest player with 12 hardware to be shown-off :) ... congrats Edward!!!  Meanwhile,  Vince Villanueva has increased his collection and is now tied for 3rd with Joel Eusebio and Hector Gatchalian with 9 show-off hardware, congrats Vince!  And lest we forget rookie Don Bascos for grabbing his first LL trophy.
