THE FW REBELS TEAM CELEBRATE THE 2-RUN HOME RUN OF JON DOKO IN THE 2ND INNING.....

AND YET AGAIN THEY DO THE SAME TO EVAN SMITH WHO'S OPPOSITE FIELD BOMB MADE THE SCORE 4-1.

The FW Rebels used timely defense, clutch hitting, and a couple of Home Run bombs to down Ntx Extreme 8-4.  The win places the Rebels into the RYA Championship game where they will have to be defeated twice in order not take the title.

Things started quickly for the Rebels in the first inning with Jace Franke leading off with a single and moving to second on a balk.  With one out, Evan Smith singled in Franke to make it 1-0.

EVAN SMITH AND JON DOKO BOTH SHOW OFF THEIR HOME RUN BALLS AFTER THE REBELS 8-4 VICTORY OVER NTX EXTREME. IT WAS THE 3RD HOME RUN OF THE SEASON FOR BOTH SLUGGERS.

In the second inning, Karson Symonds laced a double to right field to open up the inning.  Jon Doko followed with a majestic blast to left field to make the score 3-0.  It was Doko's 3rd Home Run of the season.  Extreme was able to scratch across a run in the 2nd inning to make it 3-1.

Evan Smith then crushed his 3rd Home Run of the season with an opposite field blast to make it 4-1.

Jack Dalton started on the hill for the Rebels and was effective for two innings and ran into some trouble in the 3rd.  After one out, a walk, and error, and a walk got the rally started.  A single and a walk would follow to make it 4-4.  Second baseman Drew Horstman made an amazing catch to end the inning and save two runs.

Quentin Enos came on to pitch in the 4-4 tie game and struck out 4 in his 2 innings of work.  Jace Franke made a sliding grab in centerfield to save a run in Enos' first inning of work.

Franke led off the top of the 5th with a booming double to the left center field ally.  After stealing 3rd, Jack Dalton ripped a single to right to make it 5-4.  Evan Smith followed with a single that moved Dalton to second.  Jackson Jordan then doubled to left to make it 6-4. Drew Horstman followed with an RBI ground out to make the score 7-4.  Karson Symonds knocked in a run when he reached on an error by the shortstop who let the ball go between his legs.

Enos got Extreme on a strikeout, strikeout, and ground out to short to end the game.

The win pushed the Rebels to 20-10 on the season.
