Shin-Guards ...
Shin-Guards are required in all games sponsored by the Town of Brookhaven.
As of 2002 the shin-guards must cover the entire shin and top of the foot.
"Junior" shin-guards are no longer allowed or legal.
Age appropriate shin-guards are now required on all levels.
Beginning with the 2009 season, shinguards must meet the NOCSAE standard.
They must have the NOCSAE seal embeded in the plastic or on a tag sewn into the shin-guards.
When asked... players are required to show that they are wearing legal shin-guards.
