Employment Opportunity - Baseball Coach / Instructor

Gander Minor Baseball is a summer recreation program involving children ranging from 6-18 years of age. The program is seeking instructors / coaches/ program co-coordinator for the 2020 season. This work includes organizing and instructing participants in fundamental concepts.

Key and Periodic Activities:
· Instructs in and demonstrates fundamental skills
· Supervises children for safety
· Coordinates schedules for the various classes for organized groups
· Ensures that all equipment are kept in their proper location and properly sanitized
· Performs equipment maintenance duties
· Meets the general public / parents and answers questions pertaining to the activities and operations.
· Supervises and observes field area to ensure compliance with safety rules and standards
· Administers first aid to cuts and other injuries suffered by participants.
· Performs office duties as required, including collecting monies and issuing receipts; answering telephone calls and assisting with registration.

Education:
· Secondary / Post-Secondary Enrollment
· First Aid — CPR
· Completion of or willingness to complete Sport Canada Coaching Certification
