• Columbia Falls 42, Whitefish 0: Cody Schweikert ran for three scores and tossed a pair of touchdown passes to lead the Wildcats to a blowout win over the rival Bulldogs. Jace Hill and Mark Robison hauled in touchdown passes. Backup quarterback and freshman Banyan Johnston added a final score on a two-yard keeper.

• Laurel 35, Glendive 7: Owen Younger ran for 174 yards and four touchdowns as the Locomotives spotted the Red Devils a touchdown and then roared back with five consecutive scores in a first-round romp. After a scoreless first quarter, Glendive broke the ice – literally – with a 6-yard pass from Ryan Amsler to Chase Crockett. The lead was short-lived, however, as Younger evened the score moments later with a 14-yard run and put Laurel ahead for good with an 8-yarder. Then came the back-breaker: A 61-yard interception return to paydirt by Cam McAllister just before halftime for a 21-7 lead. Younger, who had 25 carries, finished his day with a 6-yard run in the third quarter and a 4-yarder in the fourth. Laurel (8-2) advances to play at Corvallis (7-1) next week. Glendive finishes 4-6.
