Greater Keene Ball of Fame
Induction Criteria
(“BOF” = “Ball of Fame”)
Please use this guide for BOF induction consideration for each nominee. Fill out and submit
your nomination in the form found below. Only one nominee per form please.
1. The candidate must have demonstrated OUTSTANDING SERVICE to the softball community over an
EXTENDED period of time.
2. The Candidate may be living or deceased.
3. The Candidate MUST display all of the following:
• Sportsmanship
• Good Attitude
• Responsibility, Respect and Dedication to the softball community and to the City of Keene
4. Other factors that might qualify a candidate may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the
following :
• League Officer
• Umpire for a long period of time
• Long term and/or outstanding Coach
• Dedicated long term Sponsor
• Clear display or promotion of sportsmanship
• Dedicated fan, i.e.: one who volunteers to help out etc
• Long term stand-out ballplayer
• Parent that contributes to the welfare, well-being and growth and development of the league
5. Nominations will be accepted on a yearly basis. The dates/deadlines and presentation are at the
discretion and vote of the BOF committee.
6. There is no requirement that candidates must be appointed each year.
7. There is no restriction on the number of inductees in a given year provided they all meet the criteria for
appointment.
8. Individual nominations will be reviewed on a yearly basis for a period of three years beginning on the first
year that they are received and will not require re-submission for that period of time.
