HLL Spring 2025

Quick Reference (Tenative Timelines/Dates/Resources)

Spring Season (2025) Registration: January 15th (10:00 AM) to February 10th (MIDNIGHT)

Online Registration: 

Tryout Sessions: Saturday, March 1st & Sunday, March 2nd (Weather Permitting)

  • Major League: 11:00 - 1:00 p.m.
  • Minor League: 1:30 - 3:30/4:00 p.m.

Preseason Training (Major League/Returning Players - ONLY): February - April (Schedule will be posted in January)

Draft / Team Formation: Major League: Mid-March / Minor League: Mid-March (following the Major draft)

Opening Day HLL Parade & Ceremony: Saturday, April 5th

  • NOTE: ALL PLANS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE & NOT FINALIZED; the schedule for the 2025 spring season will be updated when it has been finalized (TBD) - please regularly check for updates! 

 

Major League:

  • Opening Games: TBD - weather permitting
  • Game Schedule: Late March to June - TBD (Typically Monday to Fridays at 5:30 PM & 7:30 PM w/occasional Saturdays)
  • Anticipated Start Date/Games: March 31st (weather permitting) - TBD
  • Practice Schedule: practices will be held the day BEFORE AND the DAY OF every game in the indoor/outdoor cages (2x / practices surrounding EACH game)
  • Make-Up Games: Sunday Evenings
  • Major League Playoffs/Champ: TBD (Mid - End of June)

 

MINOR LEAGUE:

  • Game Schedule: April to June - TBD (Typically one game/week on weekdays (Monday to Friday) at 5:00 PM @Northwest Field - (TBD)
  • Anticipated Start Date/Games: Monday, April 7th
  • Preseason Training: Late March/Following Draft (Dates - TBD)
  • Practice Schedule (season): Typically 2x /week (3:30 - 4:30 PM on Weekdays, Monday - Fridays) - TBD
  • Make-Up Games: TBD
  • Minor League Playoffs/Championship: TBD (Mid - End of June)

 

MINOR JUNIORS:

 

  • Anticipated Start Date/Practice: Sunday, April 6th (approx. one hour between hours 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM) - TBD
  • Uniforms are typically distributed at the first practice in April (TBD)
  • Anticipated Start Date/Games: Sunday, April 13th (TBD)
 
  • Weekly Game Schedule: Typically once a week (one hour) on Sundays April - June (TBD) - (games typically rotate every week between approx. 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM - TBD)
  • Weekly Practice Schedule: Typically on Saturdays April - June (TBD) - (practices typically rotate every week between approx. 8:30 - 4:30 PM - TBD)

 

COACH PITCH:

 

  • Anticipated Start Date/Practice: Sunday, April 6th (approx. one hour between hours 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM) - TBD
  • Uniforms are typically distributed at the first practice in April (TBD)
  • Anticipated Start Date/Games: Saturday, April 12th (TBD)

  • Weekly Practice Schedule: Typically on Sundays from April - June (TBD) - (practices typically rotate every week between hours of 8:30/9:00 AM - 4:00 PM - TBD)

 

JUNIOR LEAGUE (13-14's):

  • Tryout for Team Placement - Late March (TBD) - more information will be available after registration concludes
  • Game Schedule: Typically on Mondays & Fridays (7:00 PM) and Sunday afternoons as needed - TBD
  • Season: April - June (TBD)
  • Practices: Weeknights at the INDOOR CAGE from 8:00/8:30 PM - 9:00/9:30 PM at the coach's discretion 

 

SENIOR LEAGUE (15-16's):

  • The team will participate in a travel league against other local towns - information, start date, and schedule will be announced after registration concludes
  • Games are typically played on weeknights and occasional weekends at local venues within/outside of Hoboken - TBD
  • Schedule will be announced in Feb/March (TBD)
