WEATHER CANCELLATION/DELAY:
Important updates regarding weather/schedule changes will be provided over email and posted on the home page of our website whenever possible at https://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=hobll
CHANGE IN STATUS/PARTICIPATION:
If your plans/intentions have changed, your child is NOT planning to attend his/her assigned tryout session, and/or no longer wants to join the Major OR Minor League divisions, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
TEAM PLACEMENT & NEXT STEPS:
Attending a tryout session does NOT guarantee placement on a team in the Major OR Minor League division; there are limited roster spots available. Notification of team placement will take place shortly after the drafts are held on/around:
-
-
- Major League Draft: March (TBD)
- Minor League Draft: March (TBD)
-
- Team managers will contact all drafted players with an invitation to join their team and will share any important information at that time
- While the managers/league attempt to reach out to families within 24 - 48 hours after the draft process, please allow a few days, and in some cases, up to a week for the entire team formation process to unfold
- Please remain sensitive to the circumstances of others during the period following the draft; some candidates may not have been drafted to a team OR may not have received news about their team placement
- All candidates who are NOT placed on a team in the Minor League division will automatically be placed into the Minor Juniors and will play baseball on a team in that division. All candidates who are not placed in the Major League division will automatically be placed into the Minor League draft for team placement. In either case, an administrator will contact families with relevant information and to discuss/solidify a plan.
REMINDER FOR ANY CANDIDATES WITH AN INCOMPLETE REGISTRATION:
Candidates should complete all of the required registration steps to participate as follows:
- Enrollment to HLL Charter/"Blue Sombrero": https://tshq.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=1802636
- Enrollment on TeamSnap league-wide management: https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/464232
- Participants are responsible for finalizing registration on time. It is NOT up to the league to work that out. We try to attempt to contact as many candidates as possible who have an incomplete registration after the deadline, though it is possible that we will not reach everyone.
- All participants with an incomplete registration will need to finalize any outstanding requirements before the season. This includes enrolling with the Little League International Charter (Blue Sombrero) AND finalizing insurance waivers and data entry on TEAMSNAP.
- All participants must also join the latest version of TeamSnap (2025 version); if you have not already completed this step, please take care of it as soon as possible to avoid any delays in using our league-wide management system.
