Why Choose Clermont Cowboys over Other Organizations?


The Clermont Cowboys are a proud member of the Central Florida Youth Football League (CFYFL), American Youth Football (AYF) League and Cheer (AYC).


CFYFL is a group of Central Florida area parents and businesses that have joined together to form an "elite football and cheerleading program". We are proud to be affiliated with Central Florida High School Football programs throughout the state.  We allow children to learn the sport of football and  cheerleading in a safe, positive, inspiring atmosphere. We are supported by caring parents, great kids, dedicated & trained coaching staffs, community involvement and individual / corporate sponsors to give our kids the best experience possible.  As other youth organization grow stagnet with their numbers AYF is gaining ground.  In the last year we are now over 1 MILLION strong throughout the United States!!!

We are volunteers who love what we do, and we love these kids. You are welcome at any time to participate, volunteer and find out why we are the "Elite Program" in Central Florida. We want you involved with your kids.

 What will the season look like?
 
Beginning Last Monday in February or July (depending on the season) football players will begin conditioning.  They condition for the first week (5 days, 2 hours each night) before they put pads on.  Once conditioning concludes, practices are held 5-days in week two.  Schedule will proceed to then 4-days per week until school begins there after it will 3-days per week 2-hr sessions for remainder of the season.  All practices are held in your local area at local schools/fields.  Games are held each Saturday (beginning late March thru April or  August thru late October). Championship games November through first part of December for qualifying teams.  Spring teams advance to local playoffs only. 

 

What will I learn?
 
You will learn basic fundamentals of football, teamwork, sportsmanship.  South Lake Cowboys supports a positive attitude in a fun and educational environment.   When you leave our program, you will have the necessary skills needed to be a high school football player.
