In 2026, we'll be "Celebrating 66 Years of Razorbacks in Downey" We are a member of  the SCEYFL-AAU conference and the parent organization is American Amateur Union ("AAU"). AAU was founded in 1888 to establish standards and uniformity in in amateur sports "Sports For All, Forever."  AAU is a national youth organization and one of the largest in America. The SCEYFL-AAU is located in Southern California and is comprised of 30+ Associations located throughout the southern california region. Post season includes regional play and a chance to play for the West Coast Championship and ultimately face the East Coast winner (Texas) in the AAU National Championship, which will be played in Las Vegas in January, 2026. The Downey Razorbacks are a Community based organization where players embrace pride and play where they live. This is important in an era where the Adult and Coach lust for glory is at an all time high with players participating in leagues where they don't live (no sense of pride) with parents thinking their kid(s) are going from youth football to the NFL. In Downey, we value our community and our participants safety always comes first. Only the Best for our youth in Downey.
