 Thank you for your interest in our league…We are always looking for Churches to join our League!

All of the teams in our league are from churches around the Harrisburg area. We are specifically a Church Softball League, which welcomes women as players…vs a ‘Coed’ League where the rule is an equal number of women and men players. For example one team has four ladies on their team and some teams have none. 

We normally have a 20 game season and mainly play either on Tuesday or Thursday night at 6 or 6:30pm depending on if the game is a single game or double header. Some weeks we play both nights. 
Every team makes the playoffs at the end of the regular season.

Double headers start at 6pm which are played towards the end of May as we have more daylight to get both games played.  (Although in 2020, with the Covid-19 restrictions, we played a few Mondays and a few games on Friday in order to get the season in during a shortened season). 

Our fields are in and around Harrisburg.  We use the field across from the farm show on Cameron St, a field on Linglestown Road at the Linglestown Church of God, another field on Linglestown Road at Bethany Church and the YMCA Friendship Center’s Brightbill field in Lower Paxton Township. 

We are a slow pitch softball league, USA (ASA) umpires, 7 innings, a 6’ to 12’ arc pitch, single-wall bats only, and a one and one strike count.  

All but 4 players on the team have to be church members or affiliated with church activities. Youngest player permitted is 14 years old (not to many this young actually play) and the oldest player can be as old as they would like to be :).  Rosters have to be signed by the Pastor. 

2023 League dues are $500 per team/season, which covers umpires, field charges and softballs.
We encourage all players to participate in our League's fundraising events.
            Currently have a Whoopie Pie sale and and annual Golf Tournament at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course in Carlisle, PA.
