Rowland High School is a public school and opened its doors for the first time in 1964.  We are a California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon School. We are recognized by Newsweek and one of the top 1,500 schools in the nation.  Rowland has consistently delivered outstanding performance on the local, state and national levels for academic and athletic competitions.
