PAL RANGERS

A Suffolk Tradition since 1998

The Rangers are entering its 21st year under new leadership.  The Rangers is an elite 14-year-old tournament team with a rich history of preparing players for the next level of development and competition.  Steve Corrado from North Babylon will be taking over a program that will continue to exemplify the excellence of baseball in Suffolk County.  Coach Corrado has been the varsity baseball coach at North Babylon since 2012 and previously led the 16-year-old PAL Blue Knights (2007-2009, 2017) to an 83-39 record.  The program's founder, Jon Zaturn, will still be involved in an administrative role.  The team participates in several tournaments throughout the summer.  Members of the team are expected to participate in weekly practices or scrimmage games arranged by the coaching staff.

2017 16U BOYS OF SUMMER AMERICAN DIVISON CHAMPIONS

Our Mission....

The primary goal of the Police Athletic League Baseball Program is to develop baseball players for high school baseball and beyond, through playing competitive amateur baseball at the highest possible level. We endeavor to achieve our goal by building character through teaching the value of a strong work ethic, commitment to a goal, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and the promotion of a winning attitude. We, as Coaches, stress the "right way to play the game" through teaching the fundamentals and respect for the rich heritage of the game of baseball. With Bulldog Baseball, winning is the result of "building character though competition."

We feel the benefit of teaching such values will produce resilient young men of outstanding moral character with a solid foundation of life-skills with which to grow into quality role models for youth of the future.

          ADDITION OF A NEW COACH

Our program is proud to announce another addition to our summer coaching staff.  Former Major League Baseball Player and well respected pitching coach, Mr. Dave Von Ohlen!  What better resource for our players than to have a coach with Mr. Von Ohlen’s vast experiences will only serve to enhance and improve our program.
